Finding your family tree, your roots, is a very exciting exercise, something you can be proud of. 
If you put all you find down in writing and pass it on to your children, can be an invaluable gift 
and at the same time you will live in memory for a long time.

If you are young ask your elders questions and keep notes, which will be valuable to you later on.

If you are retired, writing all you know, your memoirs, researching your roots and compiling
 them together can be a rewarding pass time that may turn to be a treasure for coming generations.
